Integrity Window & Door Repair

WindowFixGuru™ provides independent repair service for Integrity windows and doors, including older products commonly known as Integrity by Marvin. Integrity is especially important as a legacy search term because homeowners may still know the product by the name printed on original paperwork, labels, hardware, or earlier product literature.

Marvin now identifies the former Integrity product family under its Elevate and Essential collections. Marvin’s own warranty materials specifically describe Elevate + Essential as “Previously Integrity.” For repair work, that history matters: a homeowner searching for Integrity parts or service may be dealing with a product that is now supported through Marvin’s current Elevate or Essential resources.

Integrity by Marvin: Older Name, Windows Still in Service

A discontinued or renamed product line does not mean the installed windows and doors are obsolete. Many Integrity units remain in homes and can still be candidates for repair. WindowFixGuru™ evaluates the actual product, age, material, hardware, glass, and condition before deciding whether a component can be repaired or replaced.

Older Integrity products were commonly associated with Ultrex® fiberglass construction. Wood-Ultrex products combined a natural wood interior with an Ultrex fiberglass exterior; All Ultrex products used fiberglass more extensively. Today, Marvin Elevate uses natural wood interiors with Ultrex fiberglass exteriors, while Essential uses Ultrex fiberglass interiors and exteriors.

Integrity Double-Hung Window Repair

A double-hung Integrity window that falls, will not stay open, binds, feels unusually heavy, or will not lock may have a problem with the sash-support system, jamb components, hardware, or alignment. We inspect the complete operating system rather than replacing a visible part without checking the cause.

Depending on the product generation, service may involve balance or sash-support components, tilt hardware, locks, jamb components, weatherstripping, sash adjustment, or related parts.

Integrity Casement & Awning Window Repair

Casement and awning windows rely on the operator, crank handle, hinges, sash alignment, locks, and keepers working together. If the sash is binding or the hinge geometry has changed, forcing the crank can damage the operator. We diagnose the complete mechanism and correct the underlying operating problem whenever practical.

Integrity Hardware, Operators, Locks & Replacement Parts

Legacy Integrity hardware can be confusing because the brand name changed while installed products remained in service. We use labels, dimensions, glass codes, hardware markings, handedness, arm length, hole spacing, sash configuration, and photographs to help identify the product and component.

Marvin continues to publish service, care, owners-manual, parts-manual, and replacement-parts resources for Elevate and Essential products. Some current Marvin parts documentation also retains references to original Integrity product colors and older Integrity terminology, which can be useful during identification.

Integrity Glass Replacement — Foggy & Broken Glass

Fog or moisture between panes usually points to an insulated glass seal failure. Broken or failed glass does not automatically require complete window replacement. If the sash and frame are suitable, the affected insulated glass unit or glass assembly may be replaceable while preserving the existing window.

We evaluate dimensions, thickness, Low-E requirements, safety-glass requirements, glazing method, sash condition, and available replacement options before recommending the repair.

Wood-Ultrex Window Repair & Wood Restoration

Integrity Wood-Ultrex products are particularly relevant to restoration because they combine a wood interior with a durable fiberglass exterior. The fiberglass exterior itself is not a wood-rot material, but wood components can still be affected by moisture if water reaches vulnerable interior wood, joints, adjacent framing, installation areas, or other wood elements.

WindowFixGuru™ can evaluate localized deterioration in repairable wood components and surrounding window areas. We do not claim that Integrity fiberglass causes rot or that all Wood-Ultrex windows develop deterioration. The correct approach is to identify where moisture entered, determine what material is actually damaged, and restore only what can be practically saved.

Ultrex Fiberglass: Repair the Actual Failure

Ultrex is Marvin’s proprietary pultruded fiberglass material. Its durability means many service calls are not about the fiberglass frame itself but about operating components, glass, weatherstripping, screens, hardware, alignment, or wood elements on Wood-Ultrex products. This is another reason a problem window should be diagnosed before complete replacement is considered.

Integrity Sliding Patio Door Repair

Integrity and successor Marvin fiberglass/wood-fiberglass door systems can develop serviceable problems with rollers, tracks, locks, handles, panel alignment, weatherstripping, screens, or glass. We inspect the door as a system because a difficult sliding panel or lock problem may be caused by alignment or roller condition rather than the handle alone.

Older & Discontinued Integrity Parts

The Integrity name may no longer appear as a current Marvin collection, but homeowners should still search and ask for Integrity repair when that is the name of the installed product. Product renaming is not the same as the installed unit becoming unusable.

We determine whether the needed repair can use an original part, a current Marvin replacement, a compatible component, adjustment, or another practical solution. Not every legacy component remains available, but complete replacement should not be assumed until the product and failed part are properly identified.

Repair First — Replacement Only When Necessary

Many Integrity problems are component-level: operator, balance, lock, hinge, glass unit, weatherstripping, screen, roller, or alignment. When the main frame and sash remain serviceable, repairing the failed component can be more practical than replacing the complete window.

If damage is extensive, a required legacy part cannot be replaced, or repair is no longer economically sensible, we can discuss replacement options. WindowFixGuru™ does not recommend complete replacement by default.

Questions & Answers

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Integrity still a Marvin window brand?

Integrity is a legacy Marvin product name. Marvin’s current warranty materials identify Elevate and Essential as previously Integrity, so older Integrity products may now connect to those current support resources.

Can you repair old Integrity by Marvin windows?

Yes. We evaluate older Integrity windows and doors to identify the product, failed component, and available repair path.

What happened to Integrity Wood-Ultrex windows?

The Integrity name was transitioned within Marvin’s product portfolio. Current Elevate products use natural wood interiors with Ultrex fiberglass exteriors, which closely matches the material concept many homeowners remember as Wood-Ultrex.

What happened to Integrity All Ultrex windows?

The Integrity name is no longer a current collection name. Marvin Essential uses Ultrex fiberglass interiors and exteriors and is one of the current collections Marvin identifies as previously Integrity.

Can you repair an Integrity window that will not stay open?

Yes. We inspect the sash-support system, jamb components, hardware, and alignment to determine the cause.

Can you repair Integrity double-hung window balances?

We service balance and sash-support problems when appropriate replacement components or repair solutions are available.

Can you repair an Integrity casement crank?

Yes. We inspect the operator, handle, hinges, locks, and sash alignment before replacing parts.

Can you replace an Integrity casement operator?

Often, yes. Product and hardware identification are important because components vary by generation.

Can you replace foggy glass in an Integrity window?

In many cases, yes. If the sash and frame remain serviceable, failed insulated glass can often be addressed without replacing the complete window.

Can you replace broken Integrity window glass?

Yes, depending on the product and condition. We evaluate dimensions, glazing, sash condition, and safety requirements.

Do Wood-Ultrex windows have real wood?

Wood-Ultrex products used a wood interior with an Ultrex fiberglass exterior. That distinction is important when evaluating wood damage versus fiberglass components.

Do you repair rotten wood on Integrity Wood-Ultrex windows?

We can evaluate repairable deterioration in wood components and surrounding wood areas. The fiberglass exterior itself does not rot like wood.

Can you find discontinued Integrity window parts?

We can identify the existing system and determine whether an original, current Marvin, or compatible replacement is available. Availability varies by part and age.

Do you repair Integrity patio doors?

Yes. We service repairable roller, track, lock, handle, alignment, weatherstripping, screen, and glass problems.

Can you replace Integrity weatherstripping?

Yes, when an appropriate replacement is available and the weatherstripping is contributing to drafts, sealing, or operation problems.

Should I search for Integrity parts or Marvin parts?

Both can be useful. The installed product may still be identified as Integrity, while current support and replacement information may appear under Marvin Elevate or Essential.

Should I repair or replace my Integrity windows?

If the main structure remains sound and the failed component can be serviced, repair can be a practical choice. Replacement is considered when repair is not feasible or economical.

Are you affiliated with Marvin or Integrity?

No. WindowFixGuru™ is an independent window and door repair company and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or an authorized Marvin service provider unless specifically stated otherwise.

How do I request an estimate?
